Morgan Hill – Five people were arrested late Thursday night and early Friday morning on a variety of drug charges in connection with an incident at the Madrone Mobile Estates on Burnett Avenue.
Julie Adams, 40, was cited and released for alleged possession of paraphernalia. Lisa Chavez, 28, was cited and released on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Ernie Cocio, 20, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail for alleged cultivation of an illegal substance. David Montijo, 29, was booked into county jail on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and alleged possession of a controlled substance. Jeremiah Ruiz, 50, was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance, but was later released without charges.
