Don’t miss it: downtown street scenes

The Morgan Hill Tourism Alliance, in partnership with the Morgan Hill Downtown Association and the City of Morgan Hill, will assemble the first ever “Downtown Street Scenes” event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday on Monterey Road between Second and Third streets.
Local businesses and organizations will transform a parking spot located on Monterey Road to provide a fun opportunity for people to sit, relax and enjoy downtown. Participating merchants/organizations include the Centennial Recreation Center, The Music Tree, Ricatoni’s Restaurant and Murphy’s Mercantile.
The “Street Scenes” will feature interactive activities for all ages from spinning bikes to serving hot chocolate.
This Saturday is also tagged “Small Business Saturday,” where shoppers are encouraged to check out the local merchants in Morgan Hill’s vibrant downtown.
