Daniel was a hod carrier in and around Gilroy for over 30 years. He was raised in Gilroy and attended Gilroy schools.
He is survived by his fiancé Rosemary Carranza; children Daniel Jr. and his wife Beatrice Lujan of Morgan Hill, Arlene and her husband Anthony Guerra of Gilroy, Annette Lujan, Virginia Lujan, both of Morgan Hill, and Elizabeth Lujan and Danella Lujan, both of Gilroy.
Daniel is the son of Thomas Sr. and his wife Arlene Lujan of Gilroy; stepfather of Joey, Arturo, Linda, Jina and Brian Carranza, all of Gilroy. He also is survived by 16 grandchildren, brothers, sisters and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Jr. and granddaughter Sapphire Santiago.
Vigil Service will be at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 18, at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 19, at the funeral home, then to Gavilan Hills Memorial Park for burial
