The Morgan Hill Friday Night Music Series has been rocking residents and visitors this summer with live music, dancing and entertainment.

This past Friday, July 22, the lawn of the Community & Cultural Center’s Downtown Amphitheater was filled with lawn chairs and blankets hours before crowd favorite Entourage took the stage. Acoustic act Brooke & Emil was the opening act.

The annual summertime Friday Night Music Series is hosted and sponsored by the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce. The concert series has grown increasingly popular in recent years, and well over 1,200 people attended the July 22 event.

“Music warms our hearts, touches our soul, and elevates our spirits,” said Chamber President Nick Gaich. “The Chamber of Commerce’s Friday Night Music Series serves as a connector for our community to enjoy each other, celebrate our diversity and experience a fun night of music and togetherness.”

The series continues every Friday, from 5:30-10pm through Sept. 2 at the Downtown Amphitheater. Attendance is free. Food and beverages are available for sale on site. Outside alcohol is prohibited.

This Friday, July 29, the series’ scheduled headliner is Daze On The Green. The Aug. 5 headliner is The Lost Boys.
