Cyclists enjoy the scenic routes May 13 during the 26th annual I Care Classic Springtime Bike Tour.

Swarms of bicycling enthusiasts hit the road and enjoyed a Saturday afternoon of scenic views throughout Santa Clara County as part of the 26th annual I Care Classic Springtime Bike Tour, which launched from Morgan Hill’s Paramit Corporation campus.
The May 13 event, hosted by the Almaden Super Lions Club, offered a 20, 50 and 100 mile bicycle tour for riders with scenic and safe routes, rest stops and event t-shirts.
The Lions Club, a service organization, donated 100 percent of proceeds “to benefit needy children and adults, while the I Care Classic provides cyclists with an exceptional event.”
With four separate routes, cyclists enjoyed the spring temperatures and were welcomed along the way with fresh fruit, home-baked cookies, trail mix, water and sports drinks.
At the finish line, organizers provided a BBQ chicken lunch and ice cream sundae dessert.
