– The Santa Clara County Clerk-Recorder’s Office is now offering
notarial acknowledgement and passport photo services. The notarial
service is $10 per signature and passport photos are $10 per set.
Additionally, fees have been established for credible witness
signatures for marriage licenses and
for witnesses at marriage ceremonies.

Submission of passport applications has also been streamlined. Applicants can now have their passport photos taken in the Clerk-Recorder’s Office.
• Credible Witness Fee (for marriage license applicants lacking proper identification) – $10 per signature
• Witness Fee (for required witnesses at marriage ceremonies) – $10 each
