Animal was not vaccinated, veterinarians said

Morgan Hill – Political activist Dolores Huerta came to Morgan Hill to stump for Democratic candidate Jerry McNerney at the South County Democratic Club's "Fun Fiesta for Real Political Change" event Friday evening.

Gas prices have dropped to their lowest levels in California in seven months. In many communities, the average price per gallon of regular unleaded has fallen by 60 cents or more since the current downward trend began in mid-August.

The Santa Clara County registrar of voters is looking for civic-minded volunteers to serve at the polls on Election Day. Becoming a volunteer election officer is a great opportunity for voters to serve their communities and contribute to the Democratic process. Election officers are paid a stipend of $85 or more. Volunteers are needed at polling places throughout the county. Anyone who is registered to vote in California can be an election officer.

The Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters is urging voters to register to vote early and make sure they carefully complete all required information on the voter registration form.
