The Metropolitan Transportation Commission on Wednesday awarded a $1.7 million grant to the City of Morgan Hill for the construction of a pedestrian promenade on Third Street between Monterey and Depot streets.

Registrar Mails Sample Ballots

Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters has begun mailing sample ballots for the Nov. 7 general election. Mailing will continue over the coming weeks. For this election, the Registrar's Office must produce and distribute 177 variations of the ballot in five languages.
