Relay for Life Saturday at MH Community Park

Put your walking shoes on: Relay For Life of Morgan Hill returns May 18-19 at Morgan Hill Community Park.

During the 24-hour event, the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraiser, each team pledges to keep one member on the track at all times, walking or running laps, for the duration. There are also activities and events to keep the teams entertained and motivated throughout the night.

Local business can get involved in many different ways, including joining the event planning committee, becoming an event sponsor, and providing a donation of a raffle or auction item or service for the event.

So far, there are nine registered teams of 33 participants, who have raised a combined $3,750.

Relay For Life, the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraising event, is a fun-filled overnight experience where people from within the community gather to celebrate survivors, remember those lost to cancer, and to fight back against this disease. Relay participants help raise money and awareness to support the American Cancer Society.
