Henry Coe State Park will offer several spring programs this weekend to celebrate the new season.
Wildflowers and Such, led by Holly Harper and Pete Henshow, is a gentle jaunt to see the spring wildflowers and other treasures of the season. The Tour leaves the Visitor Center at park headquarters at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 12.
Saturday evening’s program the “Birds of Coe Park” will be presented by Kevin Gilmartin and Barbara Bessey. The two will discuss how to identify park birds by sight and by sound. 8 p.m. at the Visitor Center.
In addition to these Saturday activities, wildflower walks will depart at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 13. All walks and hikes depart from the visitor center at Coe Headquarters unless otherwise noted. The park, east of Morgan Hill, is reached via East Dunne Avenue.
