Clara Ann Bonaccorso died Aug. 21 at her home in Morgan Hill.
Ann was born in Santa Clara in 1925 and lived most of her life in Morgan Hill. She graduated from Live Oak High School in 1943.
Ann was an active member of St. Catherine’s parish and formerly volunteered with its Reach Out program. In addition to family gatherings, Ann loved to read, enjoyed doing needlepoint and having frequent luncheon engagements with sister-in-law, Ann Gualtieri and friends. She was a current member of the Itlalian Mothers Club and St. Catherine’s Over 50’s group and a former member of Women in Touch.
Ann was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who lived her life in loving service for her family.
She is survived by her son Matthew Joseph Bonaccorso and his wife, Timary Ann of La Canada Flintridge; granddaughters Annie, 12, and Emily, 5, whom she loved very much; brother John Moreno and his wife, Elena; and sister Mary Puppo and husband Victor, all living in Morgan Hill.
Father Edwin of St. Catherine Church led the Vigil Service on Sunday at Johnson Funeral Home. Father Truyen led the Funeral Mass on Monday.
Ann was laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery alongside her husband, Matthew, who preceded her in death.
