Final live oak camps
The final Live Oak sports camps will be held Aug. 4-8. The fourth All Sports camp will be held 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for boys and girls ages 6-13. The intermediate volleyball camp will be held 9 a.m. to noon for ages 10-14, and the advanced volleyball camp will be held 1-4 p.m. for ages 14-17. Also being held in the mornings are field hockey and football camps. The camps cost is $85. Details: Norm Dow at 847-2075.
Tumble-a-thon
Morgan Hill Gymnastics will be hosting an open house and tumble-a-thon in conjunction with the National Gymnastics Day on Aug. 2, which will be promoted nationally through newspapers and TV. This will be the third year MHG has competed in this event. Session 1 is 10:30 a.m. to noon, and session 2 runs noon to 2 p.m.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the Children’s Miracle Network, as well as the MH Gymnastics Competitive Team whose competition season starts in September. Details: 778-2882.
