Before Cheeto became my cat, he was a cute orange and white stray kitten. He was found in a school for special needs children. One of the children who found him took him to his teacher (my brother-in-law’s sister). She decided to keep him as a class pet. The kids fed and cared for him. But like we all know, school years come to an end.
By this time he was about 5 months old. No one could take him. At the time I lived with my sister. It was hard to convince her, but once my niece saw him, she fell in love. So we had to keep him now! Her only condition: She got to name him. And as she debated Carrot and Zucchini, she decided to name him Cheeto.
Since I’ve had him he has helped me get through some tough times. I love to dress him up and he doesn’t care. Even though he is now 7 years old, he still plays like if he is a kitten. He always brings a smile to my face, and to this day still he greets me when I walk through the door. He didn’t only bring joy to the lives of those children, but because of them, Cheeto is who he is today. He is a loving and caring cat that I would do anything for.
