EDITOR: For many years, locals have enjoyed driving on the
“the loop” to view the face of Lake Anderson Dam. One recent
Sunday I was stopped at the gate and a fee of $4 was demanded of
me. Locals paid for the roads. We paid for the dam. Now they want
us to pay $4 to look at it.

For many years, locals have enjoyed driving on the “the loop” to view the face of Lake Anderson Dam. One recent Sunday I was stopped at the gate and a fee of $4 was demanded of me. Locals paid for the roads. We paid for the dam. Now they want us to pay $4 to look at it.

If I wanted to stay at the park, I could understand the fee. But just to look at the lake level and travel the road – No! Our county supervisors need to change this policy.
