Breast cancer support group meets
– A free, drop-in group meets the first and third Wednesdays of the month for 90 minutes beginning at 5:30 p.m. The meetings are open to anyone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Vote for Coe Park
– Vote for Henry W. Coe State Park in the Coca Cola Vote for America’s Parks contest at www.livepositively.com/#/americasparks/vote. The top prize is $100,000, second is $50,000 and third is $25,000. The contest runs until Sept. 6. The volunteers at Coe have been voting often and Coe is now 18th on the list of parks, but there’s a long way to go. Help push Coe further up the list of top parks.
Learn about native plants for the garden
– Learn how to start or expand a native plant garden at 2 p.m. August 27, at the Morgan Hill Library. “How to Garden with Nature in Mind for 12 Months of Color” will be presented by Alrie Middlebrook, owner of Middlebrook Gardens in San Jose. The free program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Volunteer MH Faire
