‘Christmas in September’

The South Valley Community Church holds “Christmas in September,” a fundraising event, 6:30-9:30pm at the Guglielmo Winery, 1480 E. Main Ave. Wine, appetizers, live music and live and silent auctions. Tax-deductible tickets are $35 per person. 100 percent of proceeds go to needy and deserving children in our community.

‘Friday Night End of the Month’

Pedrizzetti Winery presents “Friday Night End of the Month,” an evening of fine win e, cheese and jazz music by artist Johnny Fingers, 7-10pm at the Pedrizzetti Winery, 1645 San Pedro Ave. Tickets (good for two drinks) are $10 for wine club members and $15 for non-members.

Campfire Program

The park rangers at Coyote Lake present various free ranger programs, 8-9pm every Saturday until the last weekend in September. You might sing songs, take night hikes, play games or make crafts while learning about park plants, wildlife, geology or history. Each program ends with s’mores and a story. There is a $6 vehicle park entry fee.

Novel Discussion

The teen graphic novel discussion group covers “Chibi Vampire,” by Yuna Kagesaki, 3-4pm at the Morgan Hill Library, 660 W. Main Ave. For ages 13 and up. Light refreshments will be provided.

Used-Book Sale

The Friends of the Library used- book sale is held 1-7pm on Tuesdays, 10am-7pm on Wednesdays, hours vary on Thursdays and Fridays and 10am-4:30pm on Saturdays at the Morgan Hill Library, 660 W. Main Ave. Extended hours for the book store will become available as more volunteers join the Friends of the Library. Cost of membership is $10.
