On Wednesday, an election assembly was held for the students running for Associated Student Body office positions for the next school year. The freshmen, sophomores and juniors listened to the speeches of all of the candidates.
What were the seniors doing during the assembly? Pigging out! The Home and School Club threw its annual barbeque for the seniors. Through the wet weather, seniors waited patiently, or impatiently, for their food, which consisted of delicious cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chips and soda. Thank you to all of the wonderful parents for your time!
Last Thursday, drama kicked off its opening night of the highly anticipated musical, “Oklahoma.” The students performed Friday and Saturday night as well. Their final three performances will be this Thursday, Friday and Saturday night in the Little Theater. Tickets are only $7. If you haven’t already checked it out, I highly recommend it! The impressive acting, beautiful singing, upbeat dancing, awesome live orchestra and constant humor are definitely worth going to see!!!
A few more dates to keep in mind for the rest of this month are: Talent Show rehearsals-next Monday, Talent Show-next Wednesday, spring break-April 14-23, and the senior panorama picture/announcements are April 26.
Only seven more school days left until spring break!!! Hang in there, Acorns!
