History: Morgan Hill Gymnastics Club opened its doors Dec. 1 1996. MHGC started in a 5,000-square-foot facility, which brought a full Olympic-style program that’s been operating since 1981. MHGC has built and provided the community with the largest gymnastics training program available for 10 years. MHGC continues its commitment to the community by training physical development through recreation, developmental and competitive gymnastics. MHGC has qualified team girls and boys to state, regional and national championship meets.

Services: Morgan Hill Gymnastics offers classes for preschool children ages 15 months to 6 years of age. It also offers classes to beginner through Intermediate children ages 7 and above and even an adult class. The facility is now 10,000 square feet and provides an advanced training environment for several Olympic hopefuls. Its staff includes trained instructors and has several Junior Olympic national-level coaches.

Philosophy: MHGC’s mission statement is to “Enhance physical development through positive interaction, skill breakdown for optimum development, proper interaction with peers, and nurturing self-development.” MHGC is a sports enhancement program for children and adults. MHGC teaches gymnastics which enhances physical development as well as mental focus. It teaches why things are done a certain way, which develops a well-rounded student who enhances other sports programs.

Hours: 9:30am-8:30pm, Monday through Thursday; 3pm-8:30pm, Friday; 9am-3:30pm, Saturday.
