Owner/Operator: Leonard “Len” Long
History: Long previously worked for a local pool cleaning company. He decided to start his own business approximately a year ago. Long is a lifelong resident of Morgan Hill. Many in the community know his father who is also named Leonard Long and is a retired Morgan Hill police officer. His sister, Marci, will soon be joining him as a full-time partner in the business.
Services: Long services in-ground and above-ground swimming pools and spas. He offers year-round weekly pool and spa service, equipment repairs, clean ups and filter service. Service areas include Morgan Hill, San Martin, Gilroy and South San Jose. His weekly services range from the basic “Chem service” which is adding needed chemicals to balance the water, to “full service” which includes adding chemicals, emptying debris in skimmer and pump basket, brushing steps and tile line, vacuuming pool, cleaning filters, and skimming water to remove floating debris.
Philosophy: “We do the work, you have the fun.” Many people get frustrated with trying to balance the water, not knowing which chemicals to use for a certain problem, Long said. “We take the guesswork out of it. We take pride in the work we do and want our customers to fully enjoy their clean pools without the hassle.” Long’s approach to swimming pool service and maintenance is proactive trying to help customers keep their swimming pool water safe and clean for their enjoyment.
