Morgan Hill Chamber Names New Membership Relations Manager

The Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce has appointed Marilyn Librers as membership relations manager.

“Marilyn brings a host of extraordinary skills and a record of community involvement to the Chamber, and we are very excited that she has joined us,” said Laura Brunton, chairwoman of the chamber’s board of directors.

Librers’ first day was March 12.

Librers served as chairwoman of the City of Morgan Hill’s Parks and Recreation Commission and as city liaison to the Youth Advisory Committee (YAC). She’s also a member of the Morgan Hill Rotary Club and serves on its Community Service Committee. She’s also a board member of the Morgan Hill Community Foundation and serves as its governance chairperson. She was a board member and treasurer of the Morgan Hill Centennial Committee.

Librers has also worked as administrative manager for the Mt. Madonna YMCA and, most recently, as sales manager for Webco Sweeping.

San Martin Company Selected for State’s Biggest Garden Show in San Francisco

S.K. 703 TOPIERY Inc., 13235 Santa Teresa Blvd., in San Martin, has been selected to exhibit its live topiary plants during the 22nd annual San Francisco Flower and Garden Show March 21-25 at the Cow Palace in Daly City.

This is the sixth-largest garden show in the world as well as the most prestigious in California. Show producers are highly selective of exhibitors, which must pass a jury process.

The company’s topiary frames come in different animal shapes. They are hand-weaved. The frames are detachable into multiple partions and metal clips attached to the frame join the partitions securely. The company has been featured at the OSH Complete Home and Garden Web site.
