Kyle Zentner won first place in the Pauchon Foundation Science Fair.

Kyle Zentner won first place in the middle school division of the Pauchon Foundation Science Fair hosted at Oakwood School Jan. 31. He took home $100 for his project “Extracting Energy from Ocean Waves.” This is the second year in a row that a student from Britton Middle School has placed first. Jim Levis and George Flores, who are the instructors for Zentner’s eighth-grade class, have helped their students to demonstrate science proficiency exceeding the statewide average by six percent.
