An Amtrak train struck a truck on the train tracks on Palm Avenue and Monterey highway, south of San Jose, according to public information officer for Caltrain, Christine Dunn. 

The soutbound Caltrain #158 which is scheduled to depart from the San Francisco station at 3:07 p.m. will end its destination at the San Jose Diridon Station.  VTA will provide a bus bridge for those passengers traveling south to Gilroy. The bus will stop to all Caltrain stations and all Caltrain fare will be accepted. 

It is currently unknown if other southbound trains, include #270 and #276 will stop in San Jose.
