Body found in Aromas ID’d; ex-husband of victim arrested

Authorities have arrested a man in connection with the death of the woman whose body was discovered near Aromas last week and released the identity of the victim, according to a statement from the Monterey Police Department.

Hikers found the body of 29-year-old Norife Herra Jones, a Filipino woman from San Jose. Her death is under investigation as a homicide, and authorities in the past day arrested her ex-husband, Lawrence Jones, after locating him in Southern California.
