Someone stole bicycles worth more than $600 from Sunshine Bicycles in a late-night burglary, police said.
Morgan Hill officers responded to an alarm call about 3 a.m. May 15 at the shop, on the 16800 block of Monterey Road, according to police reports.
No one was at the scene when police arrived, but officers determined the suspect or suspects removed four bicycles, sweatshirts and bicycle parts from the store, Sgt. Shane Palsgrove said.
During a search of the area, police recovered two of the bicycles, as well as the clothing and parts, Palsgrove said. Also recovered was a pair of bolt cutters.
Two Haro BMX bikes valued at about $600 are still missing, police said. One of the bicycles is black and red, and one is green.
