On June 2, Morgan Hill police officer Steve Pennington was honored at a state meeting of Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Officer Pennington was recognized with the California Hero Award for his dedication in the fight against drunken driving. Officer Pennington has made more than 350 DUI arrests in the past 10 years, saving countless lives in the process, according to a press release from the Morgan Hill Police Department.
