Baseball: MH Young Gunz wins tourney

The Morgan Hill Young Gunz 10-and-under baseball team went 4-0 on its way to the Mardi Gras Classic title last weekend at the Twin Creeks Sports Complex in Sunnyvale.

Young Gunz won its four tournament games by scores of 11-0, 9-2, 5-2 and 3-0.

“This championship game, the boys played perfect Young Gunz baseball,” coach Demesio Martinez said. “I couldn’t have been more proud of these boys. A weekend our players, coaches and families will cherish in their hearts forever.”
