The Live Oak baseball team’s season ended Wednesday in the first round of the Central Coast Section playoffs. The Acorns took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but Sacred Heart Prep scored two runs in the first and second innings to take control of the game.

Live Oak couldn’t score again and fell 4-1. The Acorns finish their season at 14-13.

The Acorns finished with six hits in the loss. Senior Jalen Salazar finished 1-for-3 and knocked in the Acorns only run of the game. Sean Silveira (1-for-2) and Kyle Quadros (1-for-3) each added a double in the loss.

Quadros started for Live Oak and threw all six innings, allowing three earned runs and five hits.
