Angela Marie Krayenhagen died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004, She was 34.

Born and raised in San Jose, Angela attended Horace Mann Elementary School, Peter Burnett Junior High School and San Jose High School. She was a long-time dancer and member of the Lee Dancers Studio, San Jose, and Maryann Dancers in Santa Clara.

She was the queen of the San Jose Doughnut Festival in 1985, and also was queen of the Cinco de Mayo Festival 1985. Angela won the over-all gymnastic dance state competition in 1981 at Santa Clara County Fairgrounds. Throughout her life, Angela was devoted to God and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She was the mother of Matthew Michael Vasquez of Gilroy; daughter of Judith Ann Alvarado of Gilroy and Angelo A. Salinas, and his wife, Roseanna of Santa Cruz; granddaughter of Leota Marie Krayenhagen of Folsom; sister of Desiree Sablan of San Jose, Tammy Govaer and her husband, Louie of Ceres; stepsister of Annamarie Gutierrez and her husband Michael John of San Jose, Chavel Santiago and his wife, Cece of Sunnyvale; aunt of Anthony Krayenhagen of Ceres, Andrew and Megan Sablan of San Jose, Cheri and Maya Gutierrez of San Jose and Jesse Santiago of Sunnyvale.

Funeral services will be held 3pm Wednesday, Nov. 17, at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy with visitation beginning at 1pm

The family asks that any donations be made to Wells Fargo Bank, 273 E. Tenth St., Gilroy, CA 95020 Account #1277047922 to help with both funeral expenses and her son Matthew’s education.
