In the final week of practice leading up the mandatory dead week, the Live Oak football team was getting after it on the field, working on both fundamentals and installing plays ahead of the 2017 season.
Live Oak officially kicks off Aug. 25. The team is now in a mandatory two-week break from organized practice and the Acorns will return to action on Aug. 4.
During practice on Tuesday, the team hit the defensive side of the ball, working on tackle drills, including hitting a giant circular bag.
The Acorns also worked on generating power from their hips as well as footwork drills before going against an offense to close things off on Tuesday.
