pledged more than $158,000 to support health and human service
agencies during Abbott’s 2002 annual charitable giving
campaign.
Abbott Laboratories and employees of the company’s facilities in Morgan Hill, Redwood City and Santa Clara pledged more than $158,000 to support health and human service agencies during Abbott’s 2002 annual charitable giving campaign. Local organizations that will receive contributions include United Way Silicon Valley and United Way of Vallejo.

On a national level, Abbott Laboratories and its employees and retirees pledged more than $6.6 million to support health and human service organizations. The contribution includes a matching gift from the Abbott Laboratories Fund, the company’s philanthropic foundation.
