Rotary Club of Morgan Hill will offer $24,000 in small grants to local nonprofits for work that supports the Morgan Hill community. The application deadline is Oct. 31.
The Hearts of Rotary grants program seeks nonprofit organizations that have unfunded needs for specific items, typically between $250-$2,500, says a press release from Rotary Club of Morgan Hill. Grants must provide a specific benefit for the residents of the Morgan Hill community, defined as within the boundaries of the Morgan Hill Unified School District.
Organizations may make separate applications for more than one project. Grants are only accepted from philanthropic organizations (not individuals) and from a tax-exempt organization meeting IRS charitable deduction rules.
Over the years, the Rotary Club grants have supported organizations that operate free clinics, help purchase school supplies for children in need, teach children the fun and appreciation of art, provide musical concerts at elder care facilities and educate the community about and rehabilitate endangered wildlife, says the press release.
Grant applications are available at surveymonkey.com/r/RotaryMorganHill2026 and must be submitted online no later than Oct. 31, 2026.
Rotary grants are not available for activities that promote specific religious viewpoints or any political organization, says the press release. Other ineligible activities include fundraising, marketing or promotional activities for the benefit of the applicant organization, as well as personnel and general operating expenses.
College scholarships and vocational career support are not part of the Hearts of Rotary grants program, but are offered by the club under separate programs detailed at morganhillrotary.org.
