Locals attend Biola University

Morgan Hill residents Caleb Hernandez (Business Administration major) and Caden Leedy (Engineering Physics major) began attending the fall session of Biola University. Also an incoming freshman at Biola is San Martin resident Jordan Mendoza, who is majoring in Biological Sciences, according to a press release from Biola University. 

Biola’s incoming class represents a diverse group of individuals who hail from 41 states and U.S. territories and 45 countries around the world. A total of 1,583 undergraduate and graduate students started their collegiate journey at Biola University on the first day of classes on Aug. 29, says the press release.

With more than 6,000 students at its Southern California campus and around the world, Biola’s nine schools offer more than 150 academic programs at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels.

NFL Flag has returned to South Valley with SV5 NFL FLAG  Football The Five, a league that is dedicated to providing a high quality NFL FLAG program for boys and girls 4-14 years of age. SV5 NFL FLAG Football will continue its 18-year tradition of youth flag football in Morgan Hill with the upcoming fall season. 

The cost to play is $205 for 10 games plus Player Combine, End of Season Jamboree, NFL LOGO Jersey and flags. NFL FLAG is a 5-on-5, no-contact game that emphasizes skill development, equal playing time, life lessons and teamwork.
