Even though the winter months are approaching, Morgan Hill residents can still get their fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables every Saturday at the downtown farmers’ market.
Last Saturday, Nov. 9, vendors at the farmers’ market on Depot Street offered a wide variety of fall and winter produce, along with some usual favorites that can grow in the region year-round. Cabbage, beets, onions, leafy greens, carrots, squash, apples and even some strawberries are available among 30-plus weekly vendors.
Also available at the Morgan Hill farmers’ market are a unique selection of pastries and other prepared foods—and sometimes even some arts and crafts—created by vendors from Morgan Hill, Gilroy and San Benito County.
The local farmers’ market is open from 9am to 1pm every Saturday, all year long, at the Caltrain station parking lot at Depot and Third streets.
