CalTrain fatality

A southbound CalTrain struck and killed a pedestrian at 7:14pm Thursday, Aug. 29, just south of Morgan Hill. The identity of the victim had not been released as of Sept. 3.

The accident stalled two southbound commuter trains. Caltrain used VTA buses to carry passengers to Morgan Hill and Gilroy from Blossom Hill and Morgan Hill. Morgan Hill Police reported that all passengers on the train were safely removed and were uninjured.
