Car enthusiasts gathered at the first-ever Coyote Creek Concours d’Elegance on June 23 to check out more than 200 rare and collector’s vehicles from various eras. Held on the 18th hole of the Coyote Creek Golf Club, the Concours made its debut in Morgan Hill after a number of years in Alameda. Featured marques, or make of vehicle, at the event were Corvette and Ferrari.
A slew of other classes joined these cars, including American sports cars, Japanese cars, cars of Morgan Hill/Gilroy and many others. Cars were judged by class, and judges scrutinized every detail from tires to roof and everything in between. The Coyote Creek Concours will be donating a portion of the proceeds to Operation Freedom Paws, a San Martin-based non-profit that pairs shelter dogs with veterans and other people experiencing physical or psychological disabilities.
