City and chamber officials celebrated Walmart’s recently completed remodel at the 170 Cochrane Plaza store with a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 26. The remodel added a “Pickup Tower,” where customers can retrieve products they ordered online.

“Our store remodel is reflective of Walmart’s continued efforts to improve our customers’ shopping experiences, and the Pickup Tower provides ease and efficiency,” store manager Renardo Page stated in a press release. “Now, Morgan Hill customers can place their order, and swipe their bar code to get their order from the Pickup Tower — it’s easy and fast — just like a vending machine.”
