“Last Sunday, I noticed that Vineyard Boulevard was blocked off behind the theaters. There were police, firetrucks and ambulance present. What was going on there? We ended up at the movies at Eastridge. I haven’t seen it in the blotter so I’m still wondering? Thanks for any response you may have.”
Red Phone: Dear Wondering, Red Phone contacted Sgt. Jerry Neumayer with the Morgan Hill police. He said a vehicle rolled over after crashing into a tree on Vineyard near Concord Circle.
“The solo driver, a 39-year-old female, was transported to San Jose Regional and later released; she had a concussion and scratches to her face,” he said.
Good caller, hope that answers your question.
Get a life, mushroom haters
“Seriously people, get a life. The mushroom farms have been here longer than I have been alive and most likely longer than my father has been alive. Stop trying to shut them down! If you don’t like them, move. I’m sure all the complainers are people who have moved here after the farms were established. I’m tired of it. I’m sick of new people moving in, and then trying to change the town! You drive me nuts!”
Red Phone: Dear Grrrr, wow. You said what Red Phone has been saying for months, though with much more anger. Hope the venting helps.
