Supreme Court got it all wrong
Dear Editor,
On Nov. 19, 1863 Abraham Lincoln said, “government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.” Five Supreme Court Justices proved Lincoln wrong. They made it, government of the people, by the corporations, for the corporations, with their Jan. 21, 2010 decision. That was a sad day for Lincoln’s magnificent dream. It was an even sadder day for the United States of America.

Teens participating in SVCT’s production of Li’l Abner have a lot to be proud of. It’s obvious how hard the 18 teens from Morgan Hill and 15 teens from Gilroy have worked to make this production an entertaining experience. I know the directors and producers are proud and so are the parents of these talented teens. There are five more performances at the Morgan Hill Community Playhouse. I encourage the community to enjoy and support the production in an evening of fun and entertainment.
