MORGAN HILL POLICE
Arrest: A 32-year-old former Morgan Hill resident was taken to county jail after an incident Aug. 29. Morgan Hill police arrested Joshua Johnson on counts of felony criminal threats, brandishing a deadly weapon and two violations of a domestic court order. Police dispatchers received a call at 4:15 p.m. from 15605 La Honda Ct., and the caller advised that her son, who was armed with a shotgun, was threatening her. The caller had locked herself in the bedroom and the threats were being made through the closed door. Officers responded to the area and arrived at 4:17 p.m. and made a high risk vehicle stop as Johnson, who used to live at the residence, tried to flee on his motorcycle. Johnson was taken into custody without incident and the shotgun was retrieved from the trunk of his car which was still parked at the scene.
Battery: A resident of the Archstone Apartments reported that an unidentified male grabbed her. She was able to run home. The report was taken on Aug. 26 at 9:18 p.m.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported that a man tried to grab her while she was riding her bike. The report was taken on Aug. 26 at 11:14 p.m.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported that he was assaulted after returning clothing to an ex-employer. The report was taken on Aug. 27 at 10:29 a.m.
• A fight was reported at Monterey Road and Wright Avenue. One subject had a knife. The report was taken on Aug. 27 at 7:52 p.m.
Auto burglary: A resident of the 200 block of Burnett Avenue reported that someone stole her stereo from her Jetta. The car was unlocked. The report was taken on Aug. 26 at 7:35 a.m.
Threats: A resident of the Terracinda Apartments reports that a man is making death threats to her over the phone. The report was taken on Aug. 26 at 11:28 p.m.
Vandalism: The owner of the Hillview Recording Studio reported that the glass door was broken into. Nothing was taken.
• A resident of the 17300 block of Walnut Grove Drive reported that her car was egged. The report was taken on Aug. 27 at 5:52 p.m.
