149006~Parent very happy with Sobrato, staff and
athletics—Dear Editor, As a parent of a student at Sobrato High
School who plays football I have to tell you that we are very happy
with our team. My son played for Live Oak and for Sobrato.
I am a parent of a Sobrato student and a Live Oak student. How long is this hostility going to go on. Instead of enbracing a beautiful new campus for all of children to enjoy we keep dealing with vicious attacks on a school that the whole community should welcome. I’ve never seen or heard of another community attacking one of their own distict schools the way this town has. I know that some of the citizens aren’t happy about the way the district handled the building of the new school. Its here now so get over it and let our children who chose to go there enjoy having the opportunity to go to a new school. They had nothing to do with the decision made and they should not be ostrized by the community for going to Sobrato. Does this community realize how all this negativy affects the students of Sobrato, do you even care?
