their daughter Stephanie,
Tom and Lavonne Cookman of Eureka announced the engagement of their daughter Stephanie, to J.W. Brown of Morgan Hill on Feb. 21. J.W. is the son of David and Judy Brown of Morgan Hill.
Stephanie is a 2000 Valedictorian graduate St. Bernards High School in Eureka and currently a senior at Pacific Union College in Napa.
J.W. is a graduate of Live Oak High School and San Jose State University, with a B.S. in Business. He is employed by Applied Materials, Inc. in Santa Clara.
The wedding is set for July 5, 2003 in Eureka.
