Grand theft: A resident of Wright Avenue reported she let a
friend that she has known for six months stay at her home while she
and her roommate went to work. When she returned, she noticed
several items missing, including a laptop with a carrying case, two
cell phones, a BB gun, a100 watt amp and a cigarette lighter. The
report was taken on Jan. 27 at 10:33 p.m.

• A social worker from Pacific Hills Manor reported a patient’s watch, worth $650, and $80 in cash were stolen approximately two months ago. The report was taken at 10:03 a.m. on Feb. 4.

• Someone reported his camera stolen from his home a year and a half ago when he lived on Lone Hill Drive. He told police he now lives in Hawaii, and he believes a relative stole the camera. The camera is worth approximately $900, he told police. The report was taken on Feb. 4 at 2:11 p.m.

• Someone reported that the water pump for the fountain in front of the Overland Plaza Self Storage. The pump is worth $800. The report was taken at 9:35 a.m. on Feb. 8.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her daughter’s wallet was stolen while she was shopping at KMart. The wallet contained credit cards, a store gift card, identification and approximately $3,300 in cash. The woman later called back to report the wallet was found at the Post Office with everything in it except for the cash. The report was taken on Feb. 8 at 8:47 p.m.

Petty theft: A resident of the 16600 block of Lone Hill Drive reported someone took his yard waste bin while he was out of town. The report was taken at 10:42 a.m. on Jan. 29.

• A resident of the 16600 block of Dewitt Avenue reported theft of mail from the mailbox. The report was taken on Jan. 29 at 2:55 p.m.

• Someone reported her cell phone was stolen while she was at Live Oak High on Jan. 21. The report was taken at 1:21 p.m. on Jan. 31.

• Someone reported her cell phone was stolen from Morgan Hill Liquors. The report was taken on Feb. 4 at 11:29 a.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported he ran into the Starbucks in Vineyard Town Center for coffee and while he was inside someone stole his cell phone. The report was taken at 10:02 a.m. on Feb. 6.

• Someone from Britton Middle School reported a cymbal was stolen from the band room. The report was taken on Feb. 11 at 1 p.m.

• An employee of the Rite Aid reported three suspects stole two 18-packs of beer from the store. The report was taken at 11:56 a.m. on Feb. 12.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her wallet was stolen while she was at the Cochrane Chevron station. The wallet contained identification, credit cards, a personal check and $20 in cash. The report was taken at 1:59 p.m. on Feb. 12.

• An employee of the Miller’s Outpost in the Cochrane Plaza shopping center reported two males stole approximately $250 worth of clothing. The report was taken on Feb. 12 at 6:57 p.m.

• An employee of the Southside Market reported a male stole a bottle of liquor and ran towards the field to the rear of the store. The report was taken at 10:16 p.m. on Feb. 12.

• A resident of Morgan Hill reported her cell phone was stolen while she was at the Cinema Six movie theater. The report was taken on Feb. 14 at 10:28 a.m.

• Someone reported her purse was stolen while she was in the Longs drug store. The wallet in her purse contained identification, credit cards, and approximately $80 in cash. The report was taken at 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 14.

Threats: A resident of the La Crosse Village Apartments reported that she has a permanent restraining order against her husband, stating that he is to have no contact with her at all, yet she is receiving phone calls from him on her cell phone, threatening her son. The resident also told police her husband is on probation for terrorist threats against her son in Hollister. The report was taken on Feb. 13 at 9:10 p.m.

Burglary: A resident of the 16700 block of Wild Oak Way reported that someone entered the residence on Feb. 11. The resident told police several drawers were left ajar, but the resident didn’t think anything was wrong at the time. Now w the resident has noticed cash, a camera, a fail safe box containing passports and a topaz ring missing. The resident said the rear patio door may have been left unlocked. The report was taken on Feb. 13 at 7:21 a.m.

• A resident of the 400 block of Spring Hill Drive reported he returned home from a trip and discovered that someone had broken into the residence. A second story window was open, but all the doors were locked. A money jar containing approximately $500 is missing. The report was taken at 5 p.m. on Feb. 13.
