Cinequest Film Festival is now accepting submissions of feature and short films of artistic, social or stylistic merit. Cinequest 14 will occur March 3-14, 2004, in San Jose.

Sections of the festival include: Maverick Competition of international features, documentaries, shorts; Cinequest DXD (Digital by Digital) showcase of features, shorts, seminars, distribution and projection; Global Landscapes highlighting films from around the world; and our Emerging Mavericks New Visions program focusing on the top up-and-coming talent. All styles, genres and lengths of films are accepted.

The submission deadline for shorts is Oct. 10, 2003, and for features Oct. 31, 2003. Early submissions are highly encouraged. Works in progress are accepted as long as the films-videos are complete by the festival screening.

The entry fee is $35. There is a discounted entry rate of $30 for registration through www.withoutabox.com.
