The Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department is
expanding its discount pass program for disabled park patrons. The
pass currently entitles its owner to free vehicle entrance for day
use in all County Parks, and now, pass holders will receive a 50
percent discount on camping fees, Monday through Thursday,
(holidays and RV sites excluded) at Uvas, Mt. Madonna, Grant,
Coyote Lake and Sanborn county parks. To qualify for the free pass,
applicants must be under the age of 60 and submit proof of one of
the following:

To qualify for the free pass, applicants must be under the age of 60 and submit proof of one of the following:

•Medical Disability (developmental, hearing, mental, physical, speech or visual). Doctor certification is required.

• Social Security Disability Benefits Eligibility Verification, Supplemental Security Income Payment Decision, Social Security Award Certificate, or Medicare Card.

• Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Registration Card with disabled person license number. All DMV disabled placards/vehicle license plates are honored by the Parks Department.

To request an application, call the Santa Clara County Parks Administration Office at 408-355-2200 or log on to www.parkhere.org, or applications may be picked up in person at the Parks Administration Building located in Vasona Park at 298 Garden Hill Drive, Los Gatos, CA 95032.

All applications must be returned to the Parks Administration Office.
