On Friday night, the Pride beat the Salinas Valley Wildcats 2-1. Kaitlyn Nelson threw a one-hitter and had four strikeouts.

In the third inning, Daniel Austin had a leadoff single and April Hererra had an RBI triple. Kelly McDonald also singled for an RBI.

On Saturday, the Pride beat the Cabrillo Crushers 15-2. Tricia Goularte allowed only four hits in four innings. Goularte went 2-for-3 at the plate. Danielle Austin was 3-for-4 with three runs scored. Amanda Rosevear had a two-RBI double. Nelson had a two-RBI double. Herrera was 2-for-2 with a double and scored four runs.

On Saturday night, the Pride lost to the San Jose Sting 4-1. The Pride was able to work out only four hits, but the game remained close throughout. Rosevear had an RBI double to score the only run. Laura Forest pitched strong, throwing the whole game.

The Pride were seeded second in their bracket going into Sunday’s play. The Pride lost 12-3 to the Rohnert Park Rebbels after committing eight errors in the final game.

The Pride tied the game in the first inning at 3-3 after Rosevear hit a towering home run to drive in McDonald and Austin. The Pride went with all three pitchers in the game. The team will be at Incline Village this weekend.
