Edward was a resident of Morgan Hill for eight years and worked as a plating supervisor.
Edward was interested in Little League baseball and all kinds of sports. He was in the Navy during the Korean War. He also enjoyed model building, especially World War II aircraft. He enjoyed listening to jazz from the 40’s and 50’s.
Edward is survivied by his sons, Pete (Trish) Cruz, and Edward Cruz III; mother Consuelo Cruz of Morgan Hill; siblings David (Helen), Gene and Bob Cruz, Cecelia Cruz and Sylvia (Ernie) Hirose; and grandchildren Tony, Derek, Alyssa and Gregory Cruz.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, and his father, Edward Cruz Sr.
Visitation will be 5-7 tonight, July 8, at Johnson Funeral Home . Vigil Service will be at 7 p.m. in the chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, at St. Catherine Church.
