Dave Sellers, a nationally recognized artist since his college days, will display works of plein air paintings with pencil sketches and commentary at the Mission Gallery Sept. 28-Oct. 31. This exhibit is held annually and attracts artists from all continents to submit work for jury into what has become the hallmark of achievement in art featuring birds.

When first accepted, Dave Sellers was the youngest American artist to be so honored. Before his thirtieth birthday, he was honored as California Ducks Unlimited Artist of the Year, California Waterfowl Association Artist of the Year and Best of Show at the National Wildlife Art Show. Mission Gallery is located at 106 Third St. in San Juan Bautista. Hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. everyday, Sundays 12-6 p.m. and closed on Tuesdays.
