n Huntington Square – The project consists of 136 condominiums/townhouses on 136 lots over 6 acres, located at 130 and 140 E. Main Avenue, 50 units in FY 2007-08, 50 units in 2008-09, 36 units in 2009-10. Applicants and owners are Ahlin et. al and Tony Goularte.
n Sunsweet Development – The project consists of 57 homes, mixed-use with 57 single family units, condominiums and townhomes (49 single family units and eight apartments) on a little over two acres, located at 3rd, 4th and Depot Streets, on a two-year cycle. Glenrock Builders, Inc. and Master Crafts of San Jose are proposing the project.
n Vista del Toro – The project, located at 17620 Monterey Road and consists of 15 condominiums/townhouses on 1.01 acres, 8 units in FY 2007-08, 7 units in 2008-09. Gunter Building LLC of Morgan Hill is the applicant and owner.
n E. Third – Shiraz – This is a downtown townhouse mixed-use development with retail and parking at the ground level and 23 residential units above, to be located at the corner of 1st St. and Monterey Rd., between East 1st Street and East 2nd street on .71 acres in FY 2007-08. Approximately 3,088 sq. ft. will be devoted to commercial. Owner of the project is Manou Mobedshahi/Sherman House Association.
n Latala – The project consists of six condominiums and townhomes to be located at 50 Myrtle Avenue on .44 acres. One unit already exists on the site, plans are for two units for FY 2007-08 and one unit for FY2008-09. The project is being proposed by the Latala Family.
n Monterey Station – The project consists of 30 condominiums/townhomes with retail below over 1.833 acres on Monterey Road at Bisceglia Avenue, with 15 units in FY 2006-07 and 15 units in FY 2007-08, and proposed by Ray and Rick Alcini of San Jose.
Small Vertical Mixed Use Projects
n Depot at Main Mixed Use Development – The project, proposed by Granary LLC, is a mixed-use development located at the corner of Main Street and Depot on .68 acres. Twelve residential units are proposed for FY 2007-08.
n Madeline Mixed-Use at Monterey – The project, proposed by Manou Mobedshahi/Sherman House Association, will be located at the corner of Monterey Road between E. 1st street and E. 2nd street, a downtown townhouse mixed use development with retail and parking lot at the ground level with seven condominiums/townhomes and 12,200 sq. ft. of commercial on about .39 acres in FY 2007-08.
Affordable Housing Projects
n Madrone Plaza – The project located over 6.48 acres on Jarvis Drive will have 95 single family and townhouse units with 66 Below Market Rate homes. South County Housing Corporation of Gilroy is proposing the project for a January 2007 construction start.
n Crossing at Morgan Hill – The project consists of 49 affordable housing apartment units over 2.77 acres located at E. Central, west of Railroad, 25 units in FY 2007-08, 24 units in FY2008-09. Urban Housing Communities LLC of Santa Anna and Integral Associates LLC are the proposing the project.
