Burglary: A construction company reported a job site at East Dunne Avenue and Murphy Avenue was broken into overnight. The fence was cut, trailers were broken into and construction tools were stolen. The report was taken at 5:58am.

Fraud: The Chevron gas station on Cochrane Road reported a fraudulent Visa traveler’s check for $100 was taken from a customer. The report was taken at 11:51am.

Vandalism: A resident of the 3200 block of Oak View Lane reported the garage door of the residence was kicked in. The report was taken at 1:39pm.

Grand theft: Cal-Met Trading, Inc., on Hale Avenue reported two parts of an antique cash register valued at $950 were stolen. The report was taken at 1:50pm.

October 25

Burglary: A resident of the 1600 block of Morning Star Drive reported someone entered her garage overnight, ransacked her vehicle and stole two motorized scooters. The report was taken at 10:35am.

Auto burglary: A resident of San Pedro Lane reported someone broke into her daughter’s vehicle overnight. She found her daughter’s belongings scattered on San Pedro and Cory Lane. The report was taken at 2:14pm.

Auto burglary: And employee of Specialized Bicycle Components on Concord Circle reported someone broke into his Ford Explorer and took a rear hatched window. The suspects left their tools inside the vehicle. The company parking lot has a security camera, he told police. The report was taken at 3:31pm.

Burglary: A resident of the 17700 block of Laurel Road reported someone entered his house through and unlocked door and stole some jewelry. The report was taken at 4:07pm.

Fraud: The pharmacy in the Safeway grocery store on East Dunne Avenue reported a customer called in his own prescription and tried to pick it up. The report was taken at 5:05pm.

Identity theft: A resident of La Crosse Drive reported someone used her credit card for a $500 charge in Spain. The report was taken at 5:07pm.

Identity theft: A resident of Gitana Court reported someone got into her bank account and withdrew $1,532.62. The report was taken at 5:22pm.

Vandalism: A resident of the Morgan Hill Apartments told police he saw two male suspects break a window of his van. The report was taken at 6:39pm.

Fraud: A resident of Corte Cabanil reported mail was stolen from her mailbox and now someone is using credit cards in her name to make purchases on the Internet. The report was taken at 7:13pm.

October 26

Burglary: A construction trailer on a site on Barrett Avenue was broken into and power cords were stolen. The report was taken at 12:47pm.

Auto burglary: A guest of the Microtel Inn and Suites on Condit Road reported his rental car was broken into overnight, and the suspects tried to steal the stereo. The report was taken at 7:13pm.
