MORGAN HILL POLICE

Robbery: A Morgan Hill resident reported his wife was pushed by a male and her purse stolen while they were in Target. The report was taken on May 27 at 4:01 p.m.

Shots fired: A Morgan Hill resident reported her vehicle was shot at and the rear window was shattered. She told police she had been followed before and was concerned someone would do something to her home while she was on vacation. The report was taken on May 20 at 9:26 p.m.

Burglary: A resident of the 1500 block of Morning Star Drive reported someone tried to open the side door of her residence. She told police there was still something lodged in the lock. The same day of the attempted burglary, her mail was stolen. The report was taken on May 22 at 10:44 a.m.

• Someone reported that homes under construction in Del Monte Estates were burglarized. The homes were entered and all the locks were stolen, but it was unclear if anything else was taken. The report was taken at 4:53 p.m. on May 24.

Vandalism: A Morgan Hill resident reported four juveniles throwing rocks from the train trestle bridge at Monterey Road and Old Monterey Road shattered the windshield of his Astrovan. The report was taken on May 21 at 2:55 p.m.

• Someone from Sierra BioSource reported one of the company’s containers was broken into. The company is a biohazard company and disposes of syringes. The report was taken at 10:56 a.m. on May 23.

• A resident of the 2000 block of Spur Court reported her daughter’s vehicle and her husband’s vehicle were hit by paintballs, leaving many dents in the vehicles. The report was taken on May 24 at 11:09 p.m.

• A resident of the 1000 block of Easy Street reported juveniles using paintballs, throwing eggs and other objects in front of the residence. The resident’s truck was damaged. The report was taken at 12:48 a.m. on May 25.

• A resident of the 1000 block of White Cloud Drive reported five grapefruits were thrown through a window of the residence. The report was taken on May 25 at 1:33 a.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported someone threw something through her driver’s side window while she was driving on Monterey Road. The report was taken at 2:33 a.m. on May 26.

• A resident of the 17000 block of Ascot Court reported someone dumped flour and broke eggs on his daughter’s vehicle. He told police he believes it was two Live Oak High students, and he believes permanent damage was done to the vehicle, the driveway and the landscaping. The report was taken on May 26 at 5:25 p.m.

Battery: A Morgan Hill resident reported she was assaulted by a male in a pickup truck. The resident told police she was dropping off a friend at his house, and the male suspect had followed her to the friend’s house. She told police she did not know the male, but he asked her if she had a problem, and when she said no, he reportedly got out of the pickup and hit her in the chest. The report was taken on May 24 at 3:58 a.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident who was five months pregnant was kicked in the abdomen and suffering from internal bleeding. She told police she knows the person that assaulted her. The report was taken at 8:02 p.m. on May 24.

Auto burglary: A resident of Hidden Meadows reported tools were stolen from the locked tool box on his pickup and from the cab of the pickup. The value of the tools was approximately $2,000. The report was taken on May 21 at 9:21 a.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported his locked Pontiac GrandAm was broken into while it was parked at the 24 Hour Fitness club. Two CD’s and some cassette tapes were stolen. The report was taken at 5:22 p.m. on May 21.

• A resident of Black Walnut Way reported his wife’s purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. The purse contained credit cards and work keys to a store in Gilroy. The report was taken on May 21 at 8:02 p.m.

• A resident of Paloma Drive reported his locked vehicle was broken into and the front of his stereo was stolen, as well as an old wallet and checkbook. A window of the vehicle was broken. The report was taken at 5:43 a.m. on May 23.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported the resident’s locked Thunderbird was broken into while parked behind the Sizzler restaurant. A window was shattered and the stereo was stolen. The report was taken on May 23 at 12:50 p.m.

• A Live Oak High student reported the student’s cell phone stolen from a vehicle at the school two weeks previously. The report was taken at 5:35 p.m. on May 23.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her pickup was broken into while she was eating at Betsy’s restaurant. The stereo, the amplifier, the CD changer, the speakers, some CD’s and her cell phone were all stolen. The report was taken on May 29 at 11:57 a.m.

Stolen vehicle: A resident of the 17100 block of Percheron Court reported her locked Honda was stolen overnight. The report was taken on May 22 at 9:21 a.m.
